Job Description
The Global Account Management Intern will report directly to the Global Account Management Project Coordinator with a dotted line to the Project Manager. This individual will support any project-related work for the Global Account Management programs as well as any other ad hoc support that is needed for this team. The Global Account Management Intern is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day administrative tasks relating to projects and the overall Account Management program.
This position will collaborate with Sales and Account Management personnel, Marketing, regional Account Management Leadership and other stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB EXPECTATIONS
These are the minimum results expected from a successful Global Account Management Project Coordinator:
- Assist with project and team meetings by assisting with note-taking, facilitation and organization
- Maintain program distribution lists
- Communicate with both Account Management and other related business stakeholders
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the Account Management program and any ad hoc tasks that come with it
- Assist in coordinating onsite customer meetings including event location, catering, agenda creation, etc.
- Attend intern-specific workshops and trainings to learn about logistics industry.
Qualifications
- Individual should have strong customer service and communication skills
- In pursuit of college degree or equivalent work experience
- Pursuit of a Degree in Business / Finance / Administration / Communications preferable
- Must be curious, a creative problem solver, highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to remain agile and flex quickly in an ever-changing environment
- Proven strategic, analytical & creative thinking skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is preferred.

- Expected salary: $21.76/hr.
