Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient AOG Lead Coordinator to join our team in Doral, United States. As the AOG Lead Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations and maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of AOG events, including communication with maintenance teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize aircraft downtime and optimize resource allocation during AOG situations
- Manage the logistics of parts and personnel deployment to AOG locations
- Liaise with various departments, including maintenance, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution
- Monitor and track AOG events, providing regular status updates to management and relevant teams
- Analyze AOG data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop preventive measures
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and company policies throughout the AOG resolution process
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all AOG events and resolutions
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for AOG situations as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in aviation operations or maintenance coordination
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with aviation maintenance software
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures
- Thorough understanding of aviation regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with airline operations and logistics
- Experience handling Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations
- Relevant aviation certifications (e.g., A&P license) are a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Strong adaptability and ability to perform well under pressure in time-sensitive situations
