Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated person who enjoys a fast-paced, professional & dynamic work environment to fill this full-time position.  

The Pharmaceutical Trade Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and timely movement of pharmaceutical products within the supply chain. This position includes working within a team to coordinate logistics activities, manage transportation transactions, and endure compliance with regulatory standards.


Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the transportation of pharmaceutical products, including scheduling shipments, assigning carriers and tracking shipments.
  • Managing end-to-end global trade activities and logistics for international shipments.
  • Updating transactions in the Oracle Global Trade Management system and generating global trade documents.
  • Communicating effectively and working cross-functionally with multiple client stakeholders, customs brokers and internal teams.
  • Updating SOP and work instructions for ongoing global trade management system changes.
  • Investigating and problem-solving issues with superior analytical skills and ability to logically document and explain processes.
  • Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
  • Prepare reports and analyses to track logistics performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Other trade related activities as assigned.
     

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in logistics and shipment management with a strong understanding of global trade compliance, including Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifications, Partner Government Agencies and customs documentation.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and requests.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with good judgement while being a team player.
  • Attention to detail and proactiveness with updating documentation and SOPs.
  • Experience in the healthcare / pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and proven interpersonal skills
  • Interest in obtaining a Brokerage License, if not already held.
  • Competent PC skills, including all Microsoft Office applications. Power BI, MS Access, or SharePoint experience desired.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Global Trade Management software desired.

Comfortable reviewing, analyzing, and manipulating data in excel.
