Our Systems Infrastructure team is responsible for the shared technologies our company uses to deliver internal and external systems. We are the custodians of centralized development tools, such as repositories and registries, and we advise development teams on the best ways to exploit build / deployment automation.

You will contribute by implementing continuous improvements that demonstrate the benefits of DevSecOps practices and technologies, on premises and in the cloud. Most importantly, you are passionate about helping our customers learn to build awesome applications every day.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consulting to development teams on development process automation
• Managing and implementing centralized infrastructure software
• Delivering exceptional service to help customers build applications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Comfortable and effective at communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• At least two years’ experience working with on premises and cloud-based implementations
• At least one year’s experience using Ansible daily
• At least one year’s experience with UNIX / Linux scripting
• At least one years’ experience utilizing GitLab and GitLab Runners or GitHub actions

Desired Qualifications:

• At least one relevant industry certification
• Experience with DevSecOps and continuous improvement
• Proficient with build and deployment tools such as Chef and Jenkins
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools, such as HashiCorp Terraform
• Experience with secret management software, such as HashiCorp Vault
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems in a technical lead role
• Experience with working with cloud native applications, container orchestration platforms such as Mirantis / Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher/RKE or Anthos/ Google GKE highly desired
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
• Able to formulate and implement a design strategy from a mix of business requirements, concept documents, and verbal descriptions
• Experience in Java, Tomcat, Apache/Nginx, Angular, NodeJS/npm,  and related technologies
• Proficient working with Virtual Machines on premise and in the cloud
• Familiar with SAFe methodologies
• Strong grasp of automation tools
