We're looking for a Java Developer to join the Connected & Intelligent Solutions Portfolio. In our Functional Teams group, you'll be exposed to a wide variety of technologies across all layers of application development, from client-side UI to backend development. We partner with our network to build world-class digital connections for Customers and Service Providers in the logistics industry. You'll play a key role within a highly collaborative Agile development team, working on the design and production of our core business systems.

This position will sit in the Seattle, WA area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Object-oriented programming with an emphasis on Java
• Proven troubleshooting skills
• Database experience including solid SQL skills
• Familiarity with automated build/deployment tools
• Customer service-oriented attitude and top-notch time management

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps
• Familiarity with HTTPS or other transfer protocols
• Experience with Angular, JavaScript, Spring
• Experience with Kafka, JMS
• Experience with DB2, SQL Server, Postgres
• Familiarity with APIs, including Web Services, SOAP and REST calls
• Experience with Jenkins, Chef, Gitlab CI/CD, Gitlab runners
• Experience with containerization of applications
• Operating systems include UNIX, Linux, Windows
• BS in Computer Science or comparable work experience
