Job Description

Assist and support in the continued development, delivery and flawless execution of a standardized and compliant Trade Advisory Services.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support strategic development, delivery and execution of standardized, compliant trade compliance services;
  • Actively engage with customers on projects to ensure an accurate and timely delivery;
  • Maintain recordkeeping for functional areas of responsibility;
  • Quickly escalate issues and resolve complex problems;
  • Effective collaboration and solid communication with internal and external parties;
  • Continually seek improvement in procedures and services to create more efficient and cost effective operations;
  • Support in the sales process;
  • Meet company standard of 52 hours of training per year;
  • Be dedicated to the success of Tradewin using ethical business practices at all times;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred;
  • Great attitude and excellent communication skills;
  • Extensive direct experience in international trade compliance;
  • Extensive knowledge of European Union rules and regulation;
  • Proven ability to develop, implement and maintain standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement;
  • Proven ability to define performance metrics and evaluate internal and external service providers;
  • Strong project management and computer skills;
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with external and internal customers to gather information and coordinate projects to anticipate and satisfy the customer’s needs;
  • Ability to allocate tasks responsibilities to others to maximize the team and the individual’s effectiveness;
  • Ability to work under stress and problem solve, enabling teams and individuals to meet and exceed customer’s deadlines;

Additional Information

  • Travel may be required;
  • Customs Broker Licence/certificate from a national authority or local educator preferred but not required;
