Scope of Position:

Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and warehouse is running smoothly, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Air Import department.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
• Meet compliance at all times to regulations, including internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer's policies / requirements
• Understand department process flow and constantly look for areas to improve efficiency
• Safety is the FIRST duty and responsibility for everyone that works in an Expeditors warehouse. Ensure all vendor safety practices are adhered to, instruct others of proper safety practices and advise supervisor of abuses
• Unload and load cargo in a safely, accurately and efficiently
• Arrange for the transfer of cargo using radio, telephone and computer communication
• Responsible for updating and entering event codes
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment in the process of moving products safely

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Type 40 WPM
• 10 key ability 12,000 KPH
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Understanding of air documentation process
• Pro-active, strong organizational skills
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
