Job Description

The ESC Security Analyst works on-site with a large global customer. It requires a dynamic individual with a strong transportation & logistics background as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. An integral part of the Security Team, the ESC Security Analyst is responsible for the execution of security program operations. May lead and/or support regional and global project initiatives. The primary focus is on the safe and timely delivery of freight as it moves through the global supply chain network. Collaborates across functions and regions, at all levels, to improve relationships and streamline operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for security program operations, processes, and procedures
Actively manage the safe and timely delivery of freight as it moves through the supply chain network, report on and escalate incidents through established communications protocols
Conduct shipment track and trace and security incident root cause analysis
Ensure accuracy of security program content, metrics, dashboards and reporting tools
Lead or support regional and global projects within the Command Center and support projects across functional areas as applicable
Work with fellow analysts to identify global inconsistencies and develop methods for global standardization
Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments, as well as carriers, vendors, and other service providers
Provide outstanding customer service, maintaining a positive attitude & professionalism
Respond to ad-hoc requests from customers and other internal/external stakeholders
Work within a team to identify security gaps, constraints, and trends 
Ensure processes and procedures are documented in updated SWIs/SOPs
Create presentations, process maps and visual charts as applicable
Meet minimum annual company training requirements

Qualifications

Works collaboratively within a team, proficient using multiple communications platforms (i.e. email, chat, video conference, etc.)
Effective interpersonal skills, proven ability to listen, and communicate effectively

Critical thinking using logic, data & qualitative reasoning 
Ability to develop, evaluate, and recommend best options
Analytical with a strong attention to detail
Highly motivated, proactive, strong sense of urgency, able to work in a fast-paced environment
2+ years transportation, logistics, distribution or related experience 
Continuous process improvement experience, a plus
Demonstrated leadership experience
Undergraduate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or other related field
Project Management
Industry certifications, a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
Must speak English fluently
Proficient in Google suites, Microsoft suite
Must be willing to occasionally work outside normal business hours, including weekends
