Job Description

  • Entry Level 0-2 years experience
  • Maintain all payroll data, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Verify accuracy of timesheets and correct any errors
  • Balance payroll runs
  • Process entries in payroll system from Personnel Action Form (PAF)
  • Enter garnishments and resolve any issues
  • Research and help with tax issues
  • Be able to compute withholding and deductions with gross earnings
  • Respond to Verification of Employment requests
  • Process stocks and work with stock plan administrator on resolving issues
  • Run & distribute payroll reports
  • Create and update payroll processing manuals
  • Filing/Scanning
  • Be able to troubleshoot issue before asking for assistance
  • Communicate timely and professionally with employees and managers to help and resolve issues
  • Takes on additional tasks when requested by management
  • Creates efficient processes

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree preferred
  • Mid-level knowledge of Excel, Work and Outlook
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
  • Pro-active and strong organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proven analytical skills – ability to analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action
  • Capable of working without close supervision
  • Strong work ethic and team player
