Job Description

Scope of Position: 

Perform Analyst duties for Air Cargo Pricing in The Americas with vision, leadership, energy, professionalism and support in conjunction with the Global Air Cargo Group(s). Manage Air Pricing for RFQs within AMERICAS region and support RFQs generated in other regions.

Maintain adherence to The Company’s policy and procedures while displaying and communicating The Company’s goals and culture.

Key Responsibilities:     

Coordinate RFQs

  • Review RFQ documentation

  • Identify opportunities, risks and challenges

  • Perform data analysis using Excel and Power bi

  • Communicate with sales, account management, air product and build pricing strategy

  • Collaborate with team stakeholders

  • Manage multiple deadlines at a time

  • Follow up on RFQs outcome

RFQ Execution

  • Convert customer format using excel formulas

  • Insert / integrate pricing based on tools and in line with strategy

  • Communicate with the field and maintain all pricing team updated on progress

  • Manage responses

  • Audit responses and make it cohesive

  • Maintain communication per DRP (Documentation Retention Policy)

General Support

  • Update RFQ Pricing Tool in a timely manner

  • Maintain RFQ tools such as local charges and ATA tariffs as required

  • Actively engage in and support Pricing side projects

  • Support calls with the branches to communicate RFQ participation

  • Maintain RFQ workflow and proactively communicate with account management on upcoming bids

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Behaviors, Educational:

Knowledge:

  • Air Cargo knowledge including pricing, processes and operations (Preferred)

  • A good understanding of Expeditors’ product, service and systems

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Very detail oriented & strong analytical skills

  • Proactive & strong organizational skills

  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
