Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities


  • Work with select group of clients on their international shipping, optimizing their supply chain through management of orders and associated data analytics
  • Work with purchasing and sourcing personnel to identify outstanding orders and creating work rules to move product most efficiently and cost effectively
  • Adherence to procedures as outlined in customer procedure and productivity standards.
  • Deliver value to client through analysis of program and proactive delivery of shipping solutions
  • Consistently follow-up on exception reports to ensure Expeditors is meeting key event milestones within the life of a shipment.
  • Lead/participate in onboarding of new clients including the information setup and data exchange


  • Accurate and timely billing of customers and vendors 
  • Make sure department deadlines are being met in a timely manner
  • Monitor finance report (BNP)
  • Active role in AR follow up
  • Manage intercompany accounting discrepancies via AJAX report


  • Provide customer service to specific accounts 
  • Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction
  • Interact with our customers in arranging their international import shipments
  • Respond to requests for proposal, quotation or information timely
  • Take an active role in the transition of new business / updates to existing business
  • Participate to retention calls and complete customer reviews to document in the CRS


  • Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into your branch
  • Be involved and suggest system/process improvements 
  • Set the tone of this environment within your branch 
  • Data entry into our proprietary operating system
  • Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction 
  • Active role in Branch Process Management program

  • Periodically monitor the levels of customer service within your branch team
  • Attend training classes and accumulate required number of training hours


Minimum Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven leadership attitude and background
  • MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • 4 Year degree from college or university 

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of international shipping and documentation
  • Global supply chain experience- Transportation and Purchasing
  • A proven history of providing exceptional customer service at all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management skills in addition to a professional attitudes including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
