Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Entry level job that provides opportunity for advancement based on success.  Strong training program available to develop skillset with leading global logistics provider.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
  • Track and Trace international transportation files and reporting
  • Ensure accurate and timely client billing
  • Understand all the elements of the import and export customs Desk Level Operating Procedure and correctly interpret this information to fulfill our customer´s instructions and expectations.
  • Communicate with internal/external customers to coordinate the movement of international shipments into the Minneapolis market.

Systems:

  • Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into your branch
  • Be involved and suggest system/process improvements 
  • Set the tone of this environment within your branch 
  • Data entry into our proprietary operating system
  • Monitor shipment reports to ensure total customer satisfaction 
  • Active role in Branch Process Management program

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven leadership attitude and background
  • MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
  • 4 Year degree from college or university 

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of international shipping and documentation
  • A proven history of providing exceptional customer service at all levels
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management skills in addition to a professional attitudes including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
