The Associate Developer in Test is a role in which testing and development come together. You will be taking your technical skills and applying them to improving testing. You will do this by helping to add to the test library, assisting in developing the automation framework, and improving automation testing methods while participating in testing efforts.

You will also participate in the design and development of systems with an eye towards assuring quality and testability, due to fully understanding the role of the Quality Assurance Engineers and Software Testers.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a technical Quality Assurance role
• Proficient in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Python, C#, etc.)
• Proficient at scripting in one or more languages
• Proficient at working with databases, web application frameworks and command line interfaces
• Demonstrated ability to design and develop test tools & test automation from scratch
• Follow test strategies and test cases
• Execute test cases and report defects
• Contributes to the assessment of quality
• Desire to learn more
• Communicates effectively to different audiences

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent job related experience
• Strong object-oriented design and coding skills
• Working knowledge of Java application development and Windows/UNIX/Linux systems
• Understanding of the transportation/global logistics industry
• Working knowledge of common industry testing tools (Selenium/Webdriver, Jmeter, SoapUI)
• Troubleshooting of technical issues
• BS in Computer Science or comparable work experience
