Job Description

This is a professional position requiring the application of specialized knowledge in the area of mental health diagnosis and intervention.  LCS provides county mental health services incorporating a recovery-focused model of treatment drawing on the strengths of individuals and families served. Work is conducted on an independent basis but is regularly reviewed to ensure that caseload is properly managed, clients are progressing satisfactorily, and treatments and interventions are done in accordance with regulations.  Case assignments may require considerable judgement and discretion.  The need to deliver services is sometimes unscheduled and crisis oriented, occasionally during evenings, weekends, or holidays.  Most tasks are governed by well-established policies, procedures, regulations, and difficult cases are taken under continual direct supervision.


  • Must meet State or Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) requirements for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Licensure as LCSW for Medicare.
