Join us at Expath as a full-time Global Mobility Assistant and support the daily operations of the Immigration Team within the Global Mobility Department by ensuring that our clients receive their immigration support with quick, caring and expert service. This role will be a 12-month contract to start - we hope to be able to extend this to an unlimited contract.

We are looking for a quick learner with exceptional organisational skills to:

  • support clients with requests and questions via ticketing system/email/chat (forms, documents, health insurance, etc.) & ensure smooth provision of services through kick off calls and check in calls

  • assess eligibility and provide support with applications for visa/work permits for third country nationals (Assignees) and their dependents 

  • ensure relevant documents are correctly filled and saved; ensure smooth transition of cases

  • report updates on embassies requirements, timeframes and other information via relocation management software, spreadsheets, etc.

  • provide special assistance to Assignees in your area of specialisation and support team members in this area as needed

  • when needed, submit applications to public authorities or follow-up as required (pre-approval requests to the Federal Employment Agency or support Assignees with ANABIN/degree recognition process etc.)

Qualifications

About you:

  • You always go the extra mile to provide proactive support to clients and colleagues. (Experience with ticketing systems is a big plus but not mandatory) 

  • You've got excellent organisational and time-management skills and can re-prioritize tasks on a regular basis throughout the day / handling and prioritizing a large volume of incoming tasks does not stress you out

  • You love paperwork and organizing data, and can work quickly and accurately with detailed information (tracking dates, immigration status, etc.) 

  • You have at least B2 German (filling out complex forms in German is an essential part of this role) and C1+ English 

  • You’re easily able to put yourself in the shoes of someone moving to Germany – because you’ve moved to another country yourself, or helped others do so
