As we prepare to expand in Germany and Europe we are looking for a Business Development Coordinator to drive our growth as an advocate of our brand, and help us lead Expath to the next level.
Founded in 2012, Expath now provides global mobility and language training services to some of Berlin’s largest and most successful start-ups and tech firms - helping 1000s of expats relocate to Germany every year!
Our expertise and hands-on friendly customer service are known throughout Berlin, which is why we’ve quadrupled in the past two years – and still growing!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Develop a database of suitable customers, manage and grow the company’s partnership pipeline, support us to expand recognition of Expath’s services into new markets in Germany and abroad, and help define our company’s future.
How you will meet this challenge:
Planning and conducting of prospecting to expand and improve our existing lead pipeline.
Collaborating with Marketing to plan, develop and execute various outbound campaigns to increase inbound sales traffic and the company sales volume.
Work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to develop prospecting and overall sales strategies for other markets to further improve current and future revenue generation.
Targeting potential partners through outbound prospecting campaigns (i.e. cold calls, cold emails) and sales presentations.
Developing and maintaining client pipeline autonomously and proactively, driving the entire sales cycle (from initial contact, planning and execution of customer presentations, offers, contract negotiations and conclusion of the contract).
Using CRM to manage and coordinate sales cycle as well as sales funnel automations.
Working with Customer Experience Manager on initiatives to improve commercial and operational KPIs, and providing regular reporting of pipeline status, sales activity and results.
What you’ll bring:
You have 1+ years business development/ sales experience – ideally B2B or start-up – with track record of driving and exceeding ambitious sales targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Development or similar is a plus.
You are a passionate person with an ambitious mindset, and an effervescent personality.
Possess a sales mindset and enjoy developing new partnerships and closing successful deals.
You are a fast-learner driven to action, entrepreneurial thinking, passionate about sales, customer service and CRM tools.
You are comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets and you bring experience working with sales/CRM software.
Enthusiastic about helping and serving clients, a high level of goal and customer orientation and self-motivation, and charming with a friendly persistence.
You speak English at native speaker level - German professional proficiency (B2), a big plus.
Your time management is superior, independent work is no problem for you and you are able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
