We are looking for a Junior Business Development Manager (m/f/d) full time as we prepare to expand in Germany and Europe, to drive our growth as an advocate of our brand, and help us lead Expath to the next level!

Expath combines award-winning relocation services and innovative language training to provide Germany’s international residents with all the skills, tools and information they need to set up life in their new country.

Job Description

How you will meet this challenge:

  • Planning and conducting of prospecting to expand and improve our existing lead pipeline. 

  • Collaborating with Marketing to plan, develop and execute various outbound campaigns to increase inbound sales traffic and the company sales volume.

  • Work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to develop prospecting and overall sales strategies for other markets to further improve current and future revenue generation.

  • Targeting potential partners through outbound prospecting campaigns (i.e. cold calls, cold emails) and sales presentations.

  • Developing and maintaining client pipeline autonomously and proactively, driving the entire sales cycle (from initial contact, planning and execution of customer presentations, offers, contract negotiations and conclusion of the contract).

  • Working with Customer Experience Manager on initiatives to improve commercial and operational KPIs, and providing regular reporting of pipeline status, sales activity and results.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • You have 1+ years business development/ sales experience – ideally B2B or start-up – with track record of driving and exceeding ambitious sales targets.

  • You must be able to lead professional conversations in both German (B2+) and English (C1+)

  • Possess a sales mindset and enjoy developing new partnerships and closing successful deals. 

  • You are a fast-learner driven to action, entrepreneurial thinking, passionate about sales, customer service and CRM tools.  

  • You are comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets.

  • Your time management is superior, independent work is no problem for you and you are able to prioritize and meet deadlines.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Development or similar is a plus.
