We are seeking a commercially driven, client-focused Relationship Manager to convert qualified leads into active, engaged clients and grow an assigned portfolio through a value-based relationship approach. The role focuses on client activation, deposits, trading activity, retention, reactivation and sustainable revenue growth, while ensuring a high standard of client service and adherence to approved commercial, compliance and security requirements. Qualified leads are generated through Marketing and Partnerships, with the Relationship Manager responsible for maximising the value of those opportunities and existing client relationships. You will work within a culturally diverse team and collaborate closely with Customer Service, Customer Operations, Payments, Product, Compliance and other relevant functions. Fluency in English and Tamil is required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Conversion & Client Activation
Manage qualified leads allocated by Marketing and Partnerships, making timely contact in line with agreed service levels and conversion expectations.
Understand prospective clients’ needs, experience, and objectives through consultative conversations and guide them through the onboarding and initial funding journey.
Address routine objections and conversion blockers, coordinating with relevant teams where additional support is required.
Meet agreed individual activation, funding, and conversion targets while maintaining a client-first approach.
2. Client Relationship Management & Lifecycle
Build professional, trusted relationships with assigned clients through regular, personalised engagement across approved voice, social, and digital channels.
Understand clients’ trading needs and objectives, keep them informed of relevant product or service developments, and ensure a consistently high level of relationship support.
Identify inactive or at-risk clients, understand potential reasons for disengagement, and support appropriate retention or reactivation activity.
Listen to client feedback, needs and concerns and coordinate timely resolution of issues or complaints with the relevant internal teams.
3. Revenue Growth & Commercial Performance
Meet and exceed individual KPIs covering revenue, deposits, conversion, activity, and other agreed commercial measures.
Identify opportunities to grow client value through appropriate product education, account engagement and value-based upselling or cross-selling within approved commercial parameters.
Explain relevant promotions, account benefits and commercial offerings clearly, escalating requests or exceptions outside delegated authority.
Use available CRM data, reports, action items, and business insights to prioritise activity and improve portfolio outcomes.
4. Market Knowledge, Client Needs & Operational Discipline
Maintain strong working knowledge of FX/CFD products, trading terminology, account types and the company’s offering, and continuously develop understanding of financial markets.
Stay informed on material economic indicators, central-bank decisions and market events, translating relevant information into clear, client-appropriate explanations within approved regulatory and company frameworks.
Maintain accurate and complete CRM records and provide individual performance updates or reports when required.
Adhere to all applicable compliance, security, conduct and client-communication requirements, escalating potential risks, customer issues and commercial exceptions appropriately.
