Job Description

This exhibit production firm is currently seeking a Project Manager in their St. Louis Division. Expectations include controlling the projects flow and to making critical decisions ensuring the successful completion of projects while subscribing to the company's vision and ensuring complete client satisfaction


Salary: $60K-$70K 

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in client meetings
  • GC coordination
  • Directing projects through production
  • Ensure project quality and timely delivery
  • Innovate around unique challenges
  • Collaborate with sales team to review estimates and determine feasibility
  • Coordinate with Graphics team to ensure accurate (including correct sizes) and and approved files are attached to project files
  • Provide graphics details and sizing to the Detailing Department
  • Review detail drawings and or metal specs prior to drawings being provided to the service group and wood shop
  • Estimate certain aspects of projects as needed
  • Verify that materials are ordered accurately
  • Lead construction meetings to verify expectations, schedules
  • Determine best strategy for project execution
  • Review work orders addressing questions (new build construction, lead times, use of materials, etc)
  • Maintain a cost accountability of the entire project
  • Ensure the successful completion of all projects on schedule, within quality requirements
  • Document project completion by attaching photo files and alert team members of completion

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Relevant experience in the trade show exhibits and graphics
  • A minimum of 5 years managing construction and marketing projects from inception to completion and implementation
  • Effective leader, motivator, and collaborator
  • Comprehensive knowledge of planning systems, scheduling techniques, process management, workflow and team coordination / negotiation / conflict management
  • Proficiency in project pricing, purchasing and vendor negotiations
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • The ability to work with diverse personalities in sales, design, engineering, production, distribution and construction while managing costs, time requirements and customer expectations
  • Must be accurate, organized and detail oriented
  • The ability to read blueprints and a working knowledge of architectural millwork
  • Microsoft Office, PC and Internet proficiency
