Job Description

Exegy has a Technical Account Manager opening in NYC.   This NYC based customer-focused technical support position works with Wall Street firms to manage the daily operations of all Exegy products running those firms.  Position involves providing technical support to Customers. Position involves planning and overseeing of upgrades and new deployments of Exegy products.   Provides technical support of all Exegy products to Customers.

Qualifications

Qualifications Summary

Minimum BS Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent; Demonstrated people skills to develop positive customer relationships; Ability to communicate technically complex information effectively with the Field and customers; Knowledge of network protocols and tools – IP, UDP, TCP, sockets, etc.; Demonstrated knowledge of Windows and Linux; C/C++, JAVA, including debugging tools like gdb; Ability to deliver Exegy solution presentations.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

  • 3+ years work experience required
  • C/C++ programming skills required
  • Oversee the daily operations of Exegy products deployed at Customers’ sites
  • Provide effective technical support to Customers and to Exegy personnel
  • Provide technical assistance to the Field in pre-sales engagements
  • Assist Operations and the Field to ensure the successful installation of Exegy products
  • Coordinate resolution of technical issues through the Engineering organization and escalate as necessary
  • Interact with Exegy Operations, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams to help the product work continuously
  • Proactively communicate pertinent issues with other Exegy teams on a regular basis
  • Working knowledge of network protocols and tools – IP, UDP, TCP, sockets, etc.
