What You'll Do:

Exegy is seeking a Network Architect to work in the Information Technology Services group. This position will be the lead network engineer for a small network group responsible for networking in numerous datacenters and office worldwide.

Specifically, you will:

• Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework.
• Design, test, and inspect data communications systems.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
• Assist in the Install of hardware such as cables, hubs, routers, and wireless adaptors.
• Develop technology roadmaps.
• Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects.
• Manage technology vendors.
• Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors.
• Determine production direction.
• Write functional requirements/specifications documents.
• Assess vendor development/test strategies.
• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
• Upgrade network hardware and software components as required.
• Solve complex problems with many variables.

What We'll Love About You:

• Strong network security background.
• Experience in a market feed network environment.
• Experience with Fortinet, Juniper, and Arista network equipment.
• ITIL familiarity or certification and Change Management.
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
• Excellent team building and communication skills
• Scripting/automation in a network environment.

What is Required:

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of VPNs and their configuration.
• Strong understanding of IP Multicast.
• Understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Ability to design and implement new secure networks.
• Ability to redesign networks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
