Position Title: Exceptional Logistics Delivery Specialist
Department: Last-Mile Delivery Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Reports To: Delivery Operations Manager

Position Summary

The Exceptional Logistics Delivery Specialist is responsible for safely, accurately, and efficiently delivering Amazon packages to residential and commercial customers while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism, ensuring every package reaches its destination on time and in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle while following all traffic laws and company safety standards.
• Load, organize, and deliver Amazon packages according to assigned delivery routes.
• Use handheld mobile devices to navigate routes, scan packages, and complete delivery confirmations.
• Deliver packages accurately and within scheduled timeframes while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after each shift and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transportation and delivery.
• Follow all Amazon delivery procedures, company policies, and customer service standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional delivery vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers when necessary.
• Adapt to changing weather conditions, route adjustments, and delivery priorities.
• Maintain a positive attitude while working independently throughout the day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age (or meet company insurance requirements).
• Previous delivery, logistics, warehouse, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable using GPS navigation and mobile technology.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently enter and exit the delivery vehicle throughout the shift.
• Walk, climb stairs, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
