Job Description

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field.
  • A minimum of 1 to 4 years’ system administration experience.
  • Candidates with certifications would be preferred.
  • Must have an expert level understanding and proficiency in Windows Server Administration including Active Directory and Exchange.
  • Must be familiar with Networking.
  • Position requires attention to detail and creativity.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks on multiple projects with multiple people is a must.
  • Decent communication skills.


  • Qualifications

    Roles and Responsibilities:


    • Maintain system standards.
    • Monitor the system daily and identify any possible intrusions.
      Install new and rebuild existing servers.
    • Defines network policies, procedures and establishes connections & firewalls.
    • Back up all file systems and system data to the appropriate media.
    • Protects organization by keeping information confidential.
    • Recommend the implementation of new products and meets financial requirements by monitoring expenses and submitting budgets.
    • Repair/Configure computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals as needed. Identify unresolved hardware and software problems for resolution. Order spare parts or maintenance kits as needed.
    • Keep documentation of hardware, maintenance, and upgrade or replace hardware and software as needed. 
    • Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
    • Maintain yearly licenses for current software.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or management.
    • Intermediate Linux/Unix skills with exposure to open source technologies
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Documentation of the process and procedures to align the IT organization towards standards
