Job Description
Due to our continued success in onboarding new clients onto our innovative wealth management ecosystem, we are expanding and looking for an Application & Support Manager (L2 & L3 Support) in our headquarters in Lausanne.
As an Application & Support Manager, you'll lead the technical integration of our software/ products in our client’s environment. Working closely with the client's technical teams and project managers, you will drive the integration of our product onto our client’s infrastructure (cloud and on-premise) as well as regular version upgrades.
Application Management (70% to 80%)
- Support the client in the implementation of the necessary infrastructure
- Manage and configure application releases (deployments and upgrades) or guide the customer to do so
- Configure the application according to the requirements provided by the the client/ Assist client application management teams in the application setup
- Proactively participate in the technical discussions with the client on infrastructure changes and upgrades
- Interpret error logs and identify corrective actions to be taken / or support the client in this task.
- If necessary, liaise with the Evooq product development teams
Project Management (20% to 30%)
- Coordinate version upgrades for existing clients
- Track progress, manage risk and issues, and provide regular status updates for version upgrades
- Collaborate with client project team, Evooq product development team to ensure
- successful upgrade
Qualifications
What skills you'll need as an Application Manager:
- Good knowledge of system design, development, implementation and user support principles and practices.
- Good knowledge of SQL databases.
- Understanding of Docker ecosystem concepts.
- Good knowledge of network communications (HTTP, SSL, familiar with curl / wget, etc).
- Good knowledge of the Linux environment (scripting, env variables, etc.).
- Decent experience with information system troubleshooting.
- Highly motivated and self-sufficient.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Great analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have:
- Experience in banking software (Temenos, Avaloq etc.) and knowledge of financial products and wealth management are advantageous.
- DevOps experience is a strong plus, especially on Kubernetes, Openshift.
- Proven experience driving or supporting IT projects (Agile or Waterfall).
- Strong understanding of SDLC and/or ITIL processes.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
