Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Ensure high-quality, timely, and KPI-driven campaigns for clients
  • Deliver outstanding results within set timeframes for key client campaigns
  • Provide strategic direction and support for client campaigns in digital PR
  • Take responsibility for overall digital PR communication with clients
  • Contribute to quarterly, semi-annual, and annual digital PR audits for clients
  • Lead and participate in regular client calls and meetings
  • Monitor strategy performance, identify areas for improvement, and communicate concerns to line manager
  • Support departmental development, training, and digital PR services/products
  • Communicate effectively with Account Managers and colleagues for smooth campaign execution
  • Assist sales team by auditing prospective client digital PR efforts and contributing expertise in pitches
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends, sharing relevant information with colleagues and clients
  • Lead ideation sessions and decide on suitable ideas for clients based on digital PR strategy
  • Implement new link strategies for clients to enhance digital PR performance
  • Create and execute campaigns from start to finish, ensuring exceptional coverage and results
  • Provide advanced digital PR support, staying abreast of best practices, techniques, and technology
  • Develop detailed digital PR quarterly plans for clients and support departmental objectives
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members for client work and personal development
  • Proactively encourage clear communication and team-wide engagement, fostering a team-first mentality

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong demonstrable experience in SEO, PR or a similar discipline
  • Demonstrable knowledge of SEO best practices as relates to digital PR, as well as an understanding of digital PR’s value in the overall SEO strategy
  • Demonstrable experience of overseeing campaigns that generate coverage and links in target areas for the client, including national, regional and local newspapers as well as leading trade publications
  • Exceptional and proven content writing skills, with the ability to deliver all tasks associated with a campaign to a high standard, from ideation and research to copywriting, prospecting, outreach and reporting
  • Able to deliver and receive feedback to and from team members, managers, and clients
  • Experience in pitching to clients and reporting directly to clients at a senior level
  • Excellent, persuasive verbal and written communication skills, both internally and in client-facing situations
  • Able to confidently use tools such as Buzzstream, Majestic, Ahrefs or equivalent software to improve performance and value to the client
  • Innovative, willing to learn and comfortable sharing ideas with clients and colleagues alike
  • Able to identify new opportunities for growth within the service and the department
  • Clear understanding of when to escalate and delegate issues
