Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Junior HR Administrator to support the daily HR administrative activities of our Sofia studio. You will receive comprehensive training and gradually take on additional responsibilities as your knowledge and experience develop.
Core Responsibilities
Maintain employee files and review supporting documents in Bulgarian, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Handle employee queries and explain administrative requirements to Bulgarian-speaking colleagues.
Support the processing of employment documentation, including organising signatures, scanning and archiving.
Support absence and benefits administration.
Maintain HR databases and update employee information in HR systems.
Assist with monthly payroll preparation by collecting and checking relevant information.
Contribute to the improvement of HR administration processes.
Support other HR administrative activities and ad hoc tasks as required.
As you gain experience, your responsibilities will expand to include:
Preparing and checking employment documents, including employment contracts, annexes, declarations and termination paperwork.
Supporting correspondence with local institutions and external providers where required.
Taking greater ownership of HR administrative activities, with guidance from the team.
Qualifications
Fluency in written and spoken Bulgarian and a good command of English; Turkish is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong motivation to learn and develop within HR administration.
A proactive approach and a positive, can-do attitude.
Confidence working with documents and a commitment to accuracy.
A practical approach to problem-solving.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
A high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
Previous experience in HR or administration is an advantage, but is not essential.
