Job Description
Evolution New Jersey is looking to add an HR Coordinator to our growing HR team.
Previous hospitality-industry Human Resources experience preferred. Previous HR data administration experience required.
Responsibilities
- Basic personnel administration i.e., tax forms, offer forms, health insurance, termination documents and other required employment documents;
- Ensure upkeep of data related to employee paid time off and leaves of absences;
- Assist HR Managers in gathering data for weekly/monthly/annual KPIs;
- Manage the full process of the Employment Licenses of the upcoming employees and current employees while liaising with third party companies which offer out company, assistance and consultancy services;
- Take initiative to suggest and discuss improvements to current systems and processes in relation to talent acquisition, retention, and employee relations;
- Support employee benefit programs and annual open enrollment processes;
- Maintenance of employee information in multiple HR data systems;
- Understand payroll basics and support HR Manager on payroll systems and processes;
- Organize both hard and soft documents and files;
- Keep all documentation up to date;
- Support employees, field questions and escalate to HR Generalist or HR Manager as necessary;
- Assist in HR Department ad hoc projects (ie. Data gathering and compiling, research);
- Assist in Generalist and Talent Acquisition duties in team member absence
Qualifications
- Higher academic or professional education in Human Resources;
- Experience in personnel administration or talent acquisition;
- Experience in employee reporting and basic employment law;
- High proficiency of computer skills to include MS Office suite and HRIS;
- Excellent communication and people skills;
- Aptitude in problem-solving;
- High attention to detail, strong multi-tasking skills, and extremely organized.
