Now we are looking for the Payroll Administrator.

Job Description

 

  • All payroll related calculations and payments;
  • Update of the monthly salary file with employee data, according with hires, resignations, position, and salary changes. Also, any other personal information changes taking place during the month;
  • Administration, calculation, and payment of monthly absences (paid vacation, sick leave, maternity leave, and any other leave) based on Georgian Labor low in accordance with company’s internal rules;
  • E-mailing payslips after salary payments;
  • Submitting salary reports to RS;
  • Submitting Salary reports to Pension fund;
  • Daily management of payroll accountant: provide control and necessary; guidance to ensure that work of payroll accountant is done accurately and within due dates;
  • Cooperation with tax authorities – consulting, managing any payroll related disputes, other communication with tax authorities;
  • Cooperation with payroll systems’ providers and support regarding existing problems, possible improvements etc.
  • Cooperation with other company departments – consulting, training, problem solving etc.
  • Follow up that salary related deductions, tax payments and salary payments to employees are done within stipulated deadlines;
  • Follow to changes in legislation, necessary software updates etc.
  • Ensuring that procedures of the Company are followed and complied with;
  • Ensuring that transactions entered were done properly and accurately by selecting correct accounts, correct periods and correct accounting and tax principles;
  • Ensuring that taxes are calculated and accounted for in compliance with the tax legislation of Georgia;
  • Preparation of the monthly invoices by department codes for accounting;
  • Monthly closing procedures: ensuring that month is closed properly – necessary calculations and postings are in place;
  • Preparation of reports for other heads of departments;
  • Supervision of salary account in bank - ordering new bank account numbers for newcomers and reordering in case of loss, expiration or injury;
  • Assisting and answering to any aroused question about monthly salary calculation or any other detail, related to payroll and payment via e-mails or phone calls;
  • Remaining highly confidential, ethical and careful while delivering any information, and/or communication to any employee;
  • Preparation for audits and collaboration with them – preparation of the information required by auditors, answering to auditors’ questions, assistance to ensure that statutory audits are finalized within stipulated deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Successfully graduated at least bachelor program in Finance / Accounting / Business administration field;
  • At least 2 years of experience as payroll manager in a company with strong control environment;
  • Advanced knowledge in local tax and Labor Code of Georgia;
  • Fluent in Georgian and English languages (spoken and written);
  • Good computer skills (MS office);
  • High sense of responsibility;
  • Self-driven and resilient and able to thrive in a challenging environment;
  • Ability to accurately fulfil direct management orders and work tasks;
  • Ability to work in a team.
