We are looking for a Data Engineer, joining our Data Engineering team and working across departments.

Main responsibilities will include:

• align architecture and data model with business requirements
• use programming language and tools to support the data ingestion and transformation process
• data acquisition
• prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling

The data engineer will work on a ticket basis, such as hourly paid with upfront estimation of the necessary time.

We are looking for an expert data engineer with the following requirements:

• good knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation/orchestration (pandas/airflow)
• good knowledge of MS SQL Server (TSQL) - and in general of SQL language
• knowledge of OLAP and multi-dimensional analysis tools
• knowledge of distributed DBMS and RDBMS or Data-warehousing tools in general (e.g. Amazon Redshift, MS Citus, etc.)
• knowledge of MS SSIS is an asset
• team worker
• time flexibility and able to work during CET time zone (+/- 2h max)
• new technologies learning
• fluent English
• able to work in a secure environment (e.g. dedicated VM/workstation) with decent and stable internet connectivity
