Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer, joining our Data Engineering team and working across departments.
Main responsibilities will include:
- align architecture and data model with business requirements
- use programming language and tools to support the data ingestion and transformation process
- data acquisition
- prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling
The data engineer will work on a ticket basis, such as hourly paid with upfront estimation of the necessary time.
Qualifications
We are looking for an expert data engineer with the following requirements:
- good knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation/orchestration (pandas/airflow)
- good knowledge of MS SQL Server (TSQL) - and in general of SQL language
- knowledge of OLAP and multi-dimensional analysis tools
- knowledge of distributed DBMS and RDBMS or Data-warehousing tools in general (e.g. Amazon Redshift, MS Citus, etc.)
- knowledge of MS SSIS is an asset
- team worker
- time flexibility and able to work during CET time zone (+/- 2h max)
- new technologies learning
- fluent English
- able to work in a secure environment (e.g. dedicated VM/workstation) with decent and stable internet connectivity
