We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a capacity-constrained team and take ownership of support tasks, bug fixing, and ongoing development.
This role requires someone who can quickly understand complex systems, work independently, and contribute effectively from the start.

What you’ll do

• Own and resolve production issues, bug fixes, and support tasks

• Develop new features with a strong backend and database focus

• Analyze existing systems and propose pragmatic solutions

• Work closely with an international team, including US-based colleagues

Tech stack

• Backend: Ruby

• Frontend: React

• Tools: Docker, Git, Jira
  (Experience beyond Ruby and React is a strong plus)

What we’re looking for

• Senior-level experience as a Full Stack Engineer (backend-heavy)

• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in backend and database-related tasks

• High level of autonomy and ownership

• Ability to quickly ramp up in an existing codebase

• Excellent, open communication skills — receptive to feedback and collaboration

• Strong team fit: collaborative, supportive, and solution-oriented mindset

• Fluent English and Hungarian

Working conditions

• Working hours: 9:00–17:00 (occasional meetings may run until 18:00)

• ASAP start

• Contract until December 31, 2026

• Contractor setup preferred, full-time employment also possible
