Job Description
Skills and Responsibilities
• Excellent knowledge in PHP 7+ and PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Extensive knowledge and experience working in OOP and PHP MVC Framework s with LAMP stack
• Familiarity with architecture styles and API categories (REST, RPC, SOAP, etc.)
• Hands of Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and bootstrap
• Excellent knowledge of developing using WordPress standards
• Proven experience creating WordPress plugins and responsive WordPress themes
• Proven experience using WordPress Advanced Custom Fields
• Working knowledge of WooCommerce plugins and extensions
• Working knowledge of payment processor setup and plugins
• Performs website standards and security testing to include HTML and CSS validation testing
• Proven experience developing using accessibility guidelines and web standards
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Extreme ownership . A strong sense of ownership, with little necessity for supervision
• Stay current with latest tools, technology ideas, and methodologies; share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to key decision-makers
• Understanding of Agile methodologies. Participating in planning meetings, estimating the scope of work , and maintaining project status using Agile project tracking tools
• Use problem-solving skills, knowledge of full life cycle development and ability to complete the project on time and to budget
• Able to confidently reach out to third-party or plugin developers when having issues with their product
• Python - Django Experience is an added advantage
The Ideal candidate should possess:
• A relevant degree in IT/Computer Science/ Software Engineering, or a related field from a recognized University
• 3 + years of PHP and WordPress experience
