Job Description

-Support data architecture assessments and decisions for the Business Systems Modernization program, focusing on common design and value stream workshops. 

-Drive enterprise-level data architecture standards to support business process transformations in areas such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS), and Program Management (PM). 

-Define and develop enterprise-wide data domains, enable data domain stewards, and consult across the enterprise on federated data architecture solutions. 

-Apply systems engineering and systems architecture disciplines to data strategy implementation and operations 

-Support data strategy activities such as data governance, data sharing/rights, data quality, data exchange, etc.

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills & Requirements:

-  Must be U.S. Citizen

- Proven architect experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Human Resource (HR), and / or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) processes, data, and systems 

- Proven experience with defining and implementing data and information architecture in an SAP environment. 

- Proven experience with systems engineering and systems architecture - Proven experience with business process architecture and business process transformation - Proven experience harmonizing systems, processes, and/or data across business areas and functions Proven experience building and communicating technical and functional roadmaps

Desired Skills:

- Functional knowledge of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance processes and data in support of aerospace & defense (A&D) 

- Experience developing and utilizing functional ontologies and experience with ontology tools. 

- Experience with System of Systems (SoS) architecture

- Experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and/or Unified Modeling Language (UML)

- Experience with frameworks and standards such as Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Open Applications Group Integration Specification (OAGIS), and APQC process classification frameworks (PCF) 

- Experience with modeling tools such as Cameo and Rhapsody

- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) techniques and platforms 

- Experience with Extract, Transfer, and Load (ETL) and Data Engineering 

- Experience leading a distributed technical team to implement and operationalize a strategic goal
