Job Purpose
We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Planning team in Bracknell. As an Associate Financial Planner, you will be supporting a Senior Client Partner and get the opportunity to be involved in all areas of Financial Planning. A key part of the role will be assisting with client meetings and preparation so you will gain some hi-level exposure to a broad range of clients.
To build and develop trusted relationships with current and potential clients. To be responsible for delivering financial planning and wealth management advice. To work within the context of an agreed business plan. All advice given to clients must be suitable, tailored and personalised to the client and in line with advice and control policies.

Key Responsibilities
As an Associate FP, your responsibilities will include among others:-
- Looking after and supporting client needs - supporting the Senior Client Partner
- Building new client relationships and maintain and develop existing client relationships through effective ongoing service to help minimise attrition, and to deliver new instructions and referrals as a result of satisfied clients
- Ensuring clients have the right advice to achieve their financial objectives
- Ensuring client reviews are undertaken at least annually in line with clients’ changing risk attitudes and strategic requirements
- Working in partnership with Investment Management colleagues to develop client relationships
- Maintaining the New Business Pipeline (NBP) and ensure all values and dates are up to date. Ensuring comprehensive client records are kept and that these are accurate and up to date at all times and in line with Group policy
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Ability to deal with new and existing clients on a fee basis Required
- Ability to understand and communicate advice practices and processes clearly and effectively Required
- Technical/product knowledge and effective communication of wide ranging holistic financial planning strategies & solutions Required
- A strong ethic of client service Required
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise work Required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Required
Professional Qualifications and Education
- Desired - Holds a relevant level 4 qualification or above (aspiring for Level 7) and maintains an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing
