Investment Director - Jersey

As an Investment Director in our Jersey office, you will manage a diverse client base including private clients, IFAs and charities, you will be tasked with deepening client relationships by placing the power of good advice into more hands.  

Evelyn Partners offers an integrated wealth management and professional services offering to clients, as an Investment Director you will have the unique opportunity to offer bespoke solutions to your clients spanning from wealth to tax services in partnership with professional services colleagues.   

As a growing business we are looking for an Investment Director that will contribute to asset allocation and drive local strategy, with the opportunity to also feed into group wide strategy.   

As a Director - Investment Management, your responsibilities will include:

• Build new client relationships and develop existing client relationships through effective ongoing and deliver new instructions and referrals as a result of satisfied clients 
• Structure and lead client meetings in a professional manner, ensuring all information provided is up to date, technically accurate and meets clients’ needs 
• Responsible for providing personalised investment advice and portfolio management to the client 
• Develop and deepen trusted relationships with current and potential clients. 
• Work in partnership with professional Services colleagues such as tax and corporate finance to develop client relationships 
• Construct & maintain suitable portfolios in line with the clients' requirements, circumstances, tax situation and attitude to risk 

• Holds a relevant level 6 qualification or above (aspiring for Level 7) and maintains an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing Competence Requirements Competence Description of Competence 
• Technical / product knowledge and effective communication of wide-ranging investment Management strategies and solutions 
• Experience of leading pitches and winning new business 
• Strong experience of managing client investment portfolios and providing investment advice 
• Experience of re-modelling newly acquired portfolios and bringing them into line with the investment policy 
• Technical / product knowledge and effective communication of wide-ranging investment Management strategies and solutions 
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
