Job Description

Job purpose

We are a fast paced and progressive department with a passion for helping optimise people productivity and efficient allocation of staff for client assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible the allocation and utilisation of Resources within the department to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to understand skills and aspirations and identify opportunities for individuals to develop and utilise their skill-set.
  • Proactively Manage all Resource requests and highlighting any concerns to the Resourcing Managers/Head of Resourcing
  • Interpret and produce meaningful Management information and provide timely information to Executive management team 
  • Work alongside the Resource Manager/Head of Resourcing to ensure service is aligned to the overall strategy and vision of the Department
  • Daily Monitoring of the Resourcing Inbox and Emails kept to a minimum to ensure all data is accurate and up to date

 

Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience of Resource scheduling/ allocation in a professional services firm
  • Experience of using a resource booking system, ideally Retain
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
  • Good communication skills

  • Judgement – ability to take a situation and reach a suitable conclusion based on information available
  • Proactive, self motivated and good attention to detail
  • Planning and organisational skills – ensuring deadlines are met
  • Customer focus – ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
