COTA - Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Amador
Full-Time and Per Diem (On call) Occupational Therapy Assistant position is available in our Fillmore Facility. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic COTA to join our In-House rehab team.
JOB SUMMARY
To assist in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care under the supervision of licensed therapists, including family education and documentation according to organizations guidelines, professional standards and community needs. Serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current prospective patients, to all internal and external customers. Participates in quality assurance and customer service activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an approved curriculum in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Valid California COTA License/Certificate is required.
Knowledge of Rehab Optima and Matrix is preferred, but not required.
1-2 years experience preferable, but not required.
Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
Working knowledge of Medicare and other payor sources.
Full knowledge of resident’s rights.
Exude professionalism in presentation.
Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in the English language.
