Position Summary

We’re seeking an open-minded Principal Security Engineer to join our team to implement regulatory-compliant security solutions and manage external audits. Your expertise will help shape our security solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality and efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement security solution based on regulation requirements (e.g. EMI license, DORA, Cybersecurity act, ISO 27001, ISO 21343, London stock exchange rules etc.) in cloud and on-premises systems.
  • Managing an external audit focused on IT and regulatory compliance, including defining and implementation of solutions to follow-up on audit findings. 
  • Provide guidance and expertise to projects security architecture and personal data protection, from business needs to delivery. 
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols. 
  • Participate in security incident response efforts, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to effectively address and remediate incidents. 
  • Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate employees on information security topics and best practices. 

Qualifications

  • Curious personality with a proactive approach.
  • Ability and willingness to find non-traditional solutions. 
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills 
  • 10+ years’ experience in Security  
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and industry standards, mainly such as GDPR, Cybersecurity act, ISO 27001, ISO 21343. 
  • Experience with applying security in agile and non-agile companies 
  • Passion and diligence to keep on top of recent security trends. 
  • Fluency in Czech/Slovak, proficiency in English 

Additional Information

Salary: Min 3800 EUR / gross monthly 

Salary starts from 3800€ gross monthly. Final salary is upon agreement and depends on the level of seniority.
