Job Description

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN...

We are looking for Product owner, specializing in the financial services business area. You will work both as a content analyst and content owner/decision maker and cooperate with third-party partners, clients / key users; actively participate in requirements gathering and analysis, stories, system features design.

You are strong partner for discussions about product client value propositions, marketing, business processes and can push these activities; learn, teach, and consult the strategy, business, processes, needs, requirements for change in the selected business area. You are goal and delivery oriented. The secondary goal is to provide our sales tools to support them in their acquisitions.

 

YOU WILL DO:
1. Product performance:

  • Define vision of the product, its strategy, targets, market, and priorities for backlog in line with business strategy.
  • Understand the full scope of product management and lead the end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Define, track, and monitor key objectives and performance of the product and drive improvements.
  • Monitor scope and define product roadmap, priorities, and timing of product across teams for on-time delivery​.

2.  Management of development / delivery in Agile environment:

  • Manage JIRA backlog and priorities, ensure it is transparent and understood while leading the planning process.​
  • Manage and lead product development methods (i.e. Product flow) and use tools of the company (JIRA).
  • Responsible for the product success. Share significant RIDAs (risks, impediments, dependencies, and assumptions) with stakeholders.
  • Responsible for product budget and ensure product delivers business case and P&L results.
  • Check delivery of development teams and ensure backlog is done​.
  • Partner closely with Scrum Masters to provide leadership to team members.
  • Manage expectations and requirements between the business and the delivery team.

3. Strong Business / customer focus:

  • You are close to business, gathers market, business and customer requirements and use data to define new/improvements for products.
  • Have focus on the customer, serve as the voice of the customer – understand the ‘job to be done’ for users.
  • Continuously gather customer needs in multiple ways - visits, focus groups, deep talks, usability testing, quantitative research, etc. ​
  • Have close connection to sales and customer care teams to follow company business strategy.

4. Communication:

  • Communicate the customer and business needs to all stakeholders including the Delivery Team​.
  • Ensure marketing communication plan exists and product features (competitive advantages) are clear, update products knowledge base.
  • Ensure internal PR of the product so that it's clear to all stakeholders why the product is important​.
  • Build and manage relations with the key stakeholders, break silos and support cooperation among departments.

Qualifications

YOU WILL NEED:

  • University technical/business degree.
  • Experience with leading customer-facing product development preferably in e-commerce, banking, or fintech area.
  • Deep knowledge of AML, KYC/B, and other related processes.
  • Knowledge of basic UX design principles and passion to follow the latest trends in UX; user testing and internal QA of the product.
  • Experience with web analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar.
  • Knowledge of agile development approach (Scrum, Kanban), product success metrics.
  • Financial basic know-how like CAPEX, OPEX, P&L and business cases.
  • Advanced English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, organizational skills.
  • Understanding the product END to END, its system integrations, technical limitations, and how technical aspects influence product functionality and business operations. ​
