Job Description

THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN...

As a Senior Product Owner for Collections & Clients' Money Transfers, you will be responsible to take over and enhace, or build new clients’ inbound and outbound money transfer channels such as deposit accounts (based on virtual IBANs or similar), alternative transfers, card deposit gateways, etc.

The purpose of the development is to create “money collection as a product” and allow EW’s ecosystem, partners and clients to benefit from automated centralized money transfer network with integrated regulatory checks and reporting.

YOU WILL DO:

Business / Operations:

  • Review current collection networks status
  • Design upgraded/new collection network (technology)
  • Automate multi-channel deposits into digital wallet
  • Cooperate with treasury on creating process and tools to operate the deposit network
  • Maintain and develop bank account holders’ relationships
  • Introduce new inbound channels
  • Design and implement outbound capabilities
  • Provides coaching, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment to internal customers if needed.
  • All mission critical functional goals/KPIs in business units are set on annual and quarterly level, met and reviewed via retrospective team sessions
  • Deliver all projects, key objectives on time and according to specifications
  • Ensure the execution of standards, controls, policies and performance metrics to effectively and efficiently manage the entrusted department/ processes

 

People Management:

  • Leading a team of high-performing professionals
  • Ensure that the right person is in right job, poor performers addressed quickly in respective teams 
  • Motivating and developing the commercial team and the wider organization in data-driven & fact-based decision-making incl. indirect team
  • All employees have clear direction, accountability and measurable objectives (based on department/function objectives) which are reviewed and assessed on minimum quarterly bases
  • Coach and develop team members to build on strengths is your standard management routine, share best practice, enabled upskilling and helped to build expertise in the team 
  • Inspire the team and build “get things done fast, right and customer focused”
  • Be a role model for fulfilling our values and an active supporter of the company culture, in direct team or in front of the customer, whether internal or external
  • Support project teams and support evaluation of their work and KPI achievement
  • Active cooperation with other departments within Commercial Division and beyond
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Self & team development in full compliance with internal standards, controls, policies, processes and local legislation 

 

Qualifications

YOU WILL NEED:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the field 
  • Holistic thinker & hands on approach
  • Excellent verbal & written English
  • Banking regulatory experience in European context is a benefit
  • Strong understanding of technology, processes and possibilities within the domain
  • Experience in strategy and process development, implementation and execution
