Job Description

Reporting to VP Sustainability, the Sustainability Manager is supporting the VP of Sustainability and key corporate functions as well as operations in establishing the data, assurance and reporting processes, protocols, and systems to effectively report internally and externally on the ESG performance of the Group.   The role plays an integral part in serving as a ‘center of excellence’, whilst providing support and advice to the business on sustainability issues. Sustainability Manager is responsible for working with key relevant functions, business units and site operations on a local and global level and support the integration and alignment of the sustainability strategy.

  • Own and manage the Non-financial reporting process, system and scorecard, including data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Establishing the data, assurance and reporting processes, protocols, and systems to effectively report internally and externally on the ESG performance of the Group.
  • Program management of some initiatives (i.e. decarbonization, science-based targets, procurement)
  • Reviewing initiatives with product and delivery teams
  • Reviewing roadmaps
  • Aligning business and technology at a foundational level
  • Coordinate the collection of data from managers and provide expert guidance
  • Training of colleagues and managers

Qualifications

  • Exposure and interest to sustainability with a focus on environmental issues – including carbon reduction and climate change
  • Experience with GHG emissions management and Net Zero programs
  • Experience working with internationally recognized carbon standards, verification, and reporting
  • Organized and process oriented
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven excellent technical and quantitative skills (data fluent) and an analytical mind - ability to analyze data, identify trends and anomalies, numerate ability, and critical thinking skills ability to problem solve
  • Strong stakeholder management skills - proficient at building positive and constructive relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders across countries and functional roles.
  • Experience working with auditors and assurance processes
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
