Job Description

Main purpose of the National Sales Manager (NSM) role is responsibility for the assigned country. Contributes to create the Local business strategy and is accountable and responsible for its execution and the delivery in assigned Region. Responsible for revenue generation and sustainable growth delivering. Manages Sales organizations across regions within assigned country.

Main position responsibilities and objectives:

Business/operations:

  • Sustain current company profit growth and at the same time maximize company long-term profitability and expansion opportunities,
  • Execute sales strategic plan and clear action plans with focus on Sales and Marketing to successfully support company profit growth,
  • Maintain and further develop company’s presence within the country, thanks to direct leading and supporting 5 Regional Sales managers and secondary line management of all Area sales functions in the country,
  • Sales channels orchestration to maximize synergies between channels and products,
  • Product launches and running sales campaigns in the country in cooperation with the Product Owners,
  • Continuous support for acceptance network development in the country,
  • Create a pipeline of growth opportunities,
  • Tight cooperation with Group Marketing team and Product Owners in order to contribute (indirectly, but vitally) in development of company’s products and services,
  • Initiate and actively participate in customer events,
  • Preparing sales budgets, regional sales plans and tracking them,
  • Identifies and mitigates risk of the daily sales operations. Ensures compliance with Group’s policies,
  • Execute country’s P&L, responsibility for Opex and Capex delivery in line with budget,
  • Ensure the execution of standards, controls, policies and performance metrics to effectively and efficiently manage the entrusted team,
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

People Management:

  • Leading a team of high-performing sales professionals,
  • Ensure that the right person is in right job, poor performers addressed quickly in respective teams,
  • Motivating and developing the commercial team in data-driven & fact-based decision-making,
  • All employees have clear direction, accountability and measurable objectives (KPIs based on sales strategy goals) which are reviewed and assessed in team on minimum quarterly bases,
  • Coach and develop team members to build on strengths is your standard management routine, share best practice, enabled upskilling and helped to build expertise in the team,
  • Inspire the team and build “get things done fast, right and customer focused”,
  • Be a role model for fulfilling our values and an active supporter of the company culture, in direct team or in front of the customer, whether internal or external,
  • Active cooperation with other departments within Commercial Division and beyond,
  • Self & team development in full compliance with internal standards, controls, policies, processes and local legislation.

Key measurable activities with KPIs, reporting:

  • Monitor sales goals’ delivery in time, scope, quality and budget dimensions,
  • Regular and precise reporting to Country Manager.

Key authorities & rights:

  • Responsibility and decision-making rights with the companies’ representation and attestation rules according to the assignment.

Qualifications

Required / Desired qualifications:

  • University degree
  • 10+ years in B2B Sales, proven track record of managing multi-discipline Sales Organization
  • Market Development and commercial experience in negotiation of contracts at senior level
  • Experienced in implementing Sales and Marketing strategies (B2B)
  • Experience in fuel card or toll provider, or financial industry with digital sales, ideally with CRT-type customer
  • Ability to work with IT systems like CRM, Power BI
  • Outstanding leadership skills to motivate and drive its sales organization to high performance, team work and at the same time ability to develop fair, rewarding and highly ethical environment
  • Ability to perform in multicultural fast based environment
  • Fluent business English 
  • Fluent Polish is a must
