Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate budgeting and execution of various vendor services required to facilitate campus operations

• Monitor, maintain, and renew vendor contracts

• Serve as primary point of contact for various vendors

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of multiple on-site contractors

• Provides routine updates to management on all project progress

• Manage timely entry of department equipment/supply orders

• Monitor and utilize all department blanket purchase orders

• Manage and update Maintenance Connection

• Create department specific reports as required

• Ability to prioritize work on several concurrent projects for different supervisors 

• Assist department management with budgeting activities and forecasting

• Assist department management with business continuity management including risk matrices and incident response planning

• Identify opportunities for department specific efficiency gains (i.e. automation opportunities, consumable cost savings, tracking tools etc.)

• Assist Mechanical and Operational teams as required

• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a vendor management role; previous experience in project management role
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication skills and consistency;
  • Ability to understand project vision and execute plan to completion;
  • Ability to serve as the focal point of communication for numerous vendors;
  • Negotiate services and contracts;
  • Ability to work within budgets;
  • Knowledgable with Microsoft Office applications

 

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
