Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, set up, and support advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Execute manufacturing operations that transform raw materials into intermediate and final patient-ready products.
  • Generate, complete, and maintain GMP-compliant manufacturing documentation, including:
    • Batch records
    • Logbooks
    • Labels
    • Check sheets
    • Protocols
    • Change controls
    • Quality Tracking System (QTS) records
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all production documentation.
  • Perform equipment operation, routine maintenance, operator care, and basic troubleshooting activities.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Support the operation and housekeeping of classified manufacturing environments.
  • Collect, analyze, and report operational performance metrics.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, quality, and compliance.
  • Adhere to GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or Associate's Degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a regulated environment (GMP, ISO, medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food manufacturing, or similar)

OR

  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical field.

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment-related issues.

  • Valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 55 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, respirators, protective suits, and facility uniforms.

Additional Information

  • Position is full-time, working Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00p.m overtime as needed
  • Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Groton, CT  are encouraged to apply.
