Job Description

The Implementation Manager supports the deployment and integration of scientific technologies, platforms, and solutions across the Food Testing business in North America. This role requires strong technical acumen in the sciences, strategic project management, and a customer-first mindset to ensure the success of scientific product and service rollouts.

  • Lead implementation of complex scientific systems and platforms (e.g., lab automation or data analytics tools)
  • Partner with clients including IT infrastructure, IT Security, global application teams, and local/regional lab managers, and business stakeholders to understand scientific goals and operational needs
  • Design and manage detailed project plans tailored to scientific workflows
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance considerations (e.g., FDA, GLP/GMP) are factored into implementation strategies
  • Provide hands-on guidance and training on system use and data management protocols
  • Coordinate with internal science teams and product development to bridge technical gaps and ensure accurate outcomes
  • Troubleshoot scientific software/hardware integration issues and manage post-launch optimization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Environmental Science, Biomedical Engineering)
  • 5+ years of experience managing implementation or project management in a scientific or technical setting
  • Strong understanding of scientific methodologies and lab environments
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak fluently across scientific and business domains
  • Project management expertise with experience using tools like MS Project, Smartsheet, or scientific LIMS platforms
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices in the relevant scientific field
  • Commutable to a large US Food Testing laboraotry.  (Madison WI, DesMoines IA, Lancaster PA or New Orleans, LA)
