Job Description
The Site Lead is responsible for the overall oversight of the services provided at a client site. Acting as the primary operational leader and key point of contact for both the client and the organization, the Site Lead ensures excellence in service delivery, compliance, resource allocation, talent development, and client satisfaction. The role combines people leadership, business acumen, and stakeholder management to ensure the successful execution of the service activities while maintaining alignment with client expectations and organizational objectives.
- Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between the client and Eurofins PSS.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with client stakeholders.
- Conduct regular business reviews and operational meetings with client representatives.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Escalate and resolve client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Operational Leadership
- Lead the daily operations of the team deployed at the client site.
- Safeguard adequate resource allocation and workload management.
- Monitor operational performance against established KPIs and service objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and increase efficiency.
- Support implementation of new projects, technologies, and operational changes.
- Ensure service continuity through appropriate risk management and contingency planning.
- People Management
- Directly manage team leaders and/or support personnel as applicable.
- Participate in recruitment and ensure a successful onsite onboarding for all new employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations and development discussions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Support employee career development and succession planning.
- Work together with HR to address employee relations matters.
- Quality, Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to GMP, GLP, GCP, … standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance with client procedures, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Promote a strong culture of quality and data integrity.
- Support audits, inspections, and quality investigations.
- Ensure completion of training and qualification requirements.
- Champion site safety initiatives and regulatory compliance programs.
- Financial & Business Management
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Support workforce planning.
- Contribute to business reviews and growth opportunities.
- Assist in developing business cases and proposals for expanded services.
- Project & Change Management
- Lead or support strategic and operational projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving client and internal stakeholders.
- Manage organizational and operational changes effectively.
- Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Ensure successful implementation of new service offerings and business processes.
Qualifications
- Holds master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences or a Business Degree.
- Fluent communication skills in English as this is the working language. Dutch is nice to have.
- 2-5 years of leadership or people management experience.
- Experience working within GMP and/or regulated environments.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience with KPI management and performance monitoring.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Understanding of laboratory operations and scientific workflows is a plus.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.

- A full-time (40hours/week) Monday – Friday job.
- A Permanent contract with flexible working hours. (Can start between 7am and 9:30am)
