Job Description

About the Role

Eurofins Discovery is looking for a results-driven Business Development professional to expand our Discovery Services business in Taiwan. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, and achieving revenue growth through consultative selling and strategic account management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, and research sectors.
  • Build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers across Taiwan.
  • Promote Eurofins Discovery services and solutions throughout the drug discovery and development value chain.
  • Develop and manage sales pipelines to consistently achieve individual sales targets.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and contract discussions with clients.
  • Collaborate closely with scientific and operational teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales activities and forecasts through CRM systems.
  • Represent Eurofins at industry events, conferences, and networking activities.

Qualifications

What You Bring

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related discipline.
  • 3–8 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or scientific consulting.
  • Experience within CRO, CDMO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life science tools, laboratory services, or related sectors is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to understand scientific concepts and translate them into business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent Mandarin and English.

  • New business acquisition.
  • Revenue achievement against annual targets.
  • Pipeline generation and conversion.
  • Customer retention and account growth.
  • CRM discipline and forecast accuracy.
