Job Description

Title: Project Manager
Mode of work: Remote
Shift Timings: 6.30PM to 3.30AM IST

Summary / Objective
IT Infrastructure Project Managers are responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring strategic infrastructure projects. They communicate project progress and risks to stakeholders, support departmental goals, and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.

Essential Functions

Project Planning & Execution

Lead infrastructure projects from initiation through implementation and transition to business-as-usual operations.
Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, RAID logs, schedules, and resource plans with cross-functional teams.
Manage multiple infrastructure projects while balancing priorities, timelines, and resources.
Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate with engineers, architects, IT Security, and Implementation Managers to deliver project milestones, assign ownership, track progress, and remove blockers.
Partner with IT Infrastructure, business, and cross-functional teams, including remote and on-site resources, to support solution integration and migration activities.
Resource & Budget Management

Identify and secure the resources needed to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Risk / Issue / RAID Management
Report project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership through regular status updates.
Governance & Compliance
Prepare and submit Project Gate documentation and scope change requests for leadership review and approval.
Ensure compliance with IT governance, security, and operational standards.
Complete administrative requirements on time, including timecards, expense reports, and mandatory training.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
Lead Steering Committee meetings with senior IT and business stakeholders to provide project oversight and alignment.
Process Improvement / PMO Support
Lead post-project reviews and apply lessons learned to improve execution.
Support PMO process improvement initiatives.

Other Duties
Maintain clear and consistent communication with the PMO and senior leadership.
Support procurement activities as needed.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT project management.
5+ years of experience managing projects.
Preferred Education and Experience (not required but beneficial)

PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of GxP compliance requirements, IT Security regulations, and best practices relevant to the analytical testing laboratory industry.
Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects.
Experience leading teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
Experience managing IT infrastructure-related projects.
Additional Eligibility Requirements

Work Environment

This position is primarily performed in an office or remote work setting and may require periodic presence at the IT Delivery Center facility.

This position allows remote work, with availability to be present at the IT Delivery Center facility as needed.
Work is performed primarily in an office setting using a computer, monitors, and a company-provided cell phone.
