    Job Description

    The Internal Account Manager (IAM) serves as the primary internal coordinator for all proposal, and quotation activities across Eurofins Central Laboratory activities for a named client.

    This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end quotation process, ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive proposals that align with client requirements, operational capabilities, and commercial objectives.

    The IAM acts as the central liaison between client stakeholders and Eurofins functional teams including Scientific Affairs, Proposals, Operations, Laboratory Management, Project Management, Finance, Contracts, Logistics, IT, Specimen Management, and Business Development to gather technical and operational inputs required for proposal development. The role focuses on delivering high-quality budgets, proposals, including change orders, maintaining pricing consistency, supporting bid defense activities, and driving proposal efficiency to maximize study win rates and revenue opportunities within the client partnership.

    Internal Account Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Strategic Account Management

    • Serve as the primary internal account owner for Parexel proposals.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Parexel's organizational structure.
    • Build strong relationships with Parexel procurement and other relevant stakeholders.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Act as escalation point for client concerns regarding proposals.
    • Lead coordination of client inquiries requiring cross-functional support.
    • Ensure timely communication regarding proposal status, and tracking appropriate KPI’s and metrics as required.
    • Maintain regular engagement with key stakeholders to strengthen partnership satisfaction.

    Portfolio Oversight

    • Maintain visibility of all active client proposals and amendments across global laboratory locations until the point of contract signature.
    • Identify risks that could impact proposal delivery and coordinate effective mitigation plans.
    • Partner with Scientific Affairs, Proposals, and Operational Teams to ensure consistent proposal quality and delivery.

    Financial Management

    • Review change orders and scope modifications to ensure timely execution.

    Operational Excellence

    • Coordinate internal resources to support successful delivery of Parexel proposals.
    • Monitor proposal KPIs and service level performance.

    Client Growth and Business Development Support

    • Evaluate opportunity trends won or lost to identify additional services that may be offered.
    • Promote expansion of Eurofins wider services within client sponsored programs where appropriate.

    Governance & Reporting

    • Prepare monthly account proposals performance reports.
    • Develop executive dashboards and KPI summaries.

    Qualifications

    Basic Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years of clinical research, CRO, central laboratory, or pharmaceutical industry experience.
    • Strong understanding of global clinical trial operations.
    • Experience supporting global central laboratory programs.
    • Familiarity with scientific affairs, project management, specimen management, and laboratory operations.
    • Basic understanding of laboratory testing as it relates to the requirements of clinical trials and regulatory approval process.
    • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

    Basic Minimum Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Clinical Research, or related field.

    • A successful Internal Account Manager for a given client will:
    • Be viewed by the client as a trusted business partner.
    • Maintain high account satisfaction and retention.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment across laboratory operations and the CTS scope where appropriate.
    • Anticipate risks before they impact the client.

    Additional Information

    Position is remote full-time working, Monday- Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, with overtime and limited weekend coverage as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
