Job Description
The Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager leads the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects within an IT Transformation Programme. The role ensures that projects are delivered according to agreed specifications, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. It covers all key aspects of project execution, including scope definition, planning, monitoring, governance, stakeholder coordination, and customer satisfaction. Candidate demonstrates a positive attitude, resilience, and solution-oriented mindset.
Manage, monitor, and deliver IT Infrastructure projects, as part of an IT Transformation Program.
Define scope, provide estimates, plan the budget, identify resources, and oversee project governance.
Organize and manage all phases of the project to ensure timely completion.
Establish delivery monitoring controls and governance mechanisms.
Proactively identify project delivery risks, establish mitigation mechanisms and communicate these to appropriate stakeholders.
Assemble and coordinate project team members and assign individual responsibilities.
Prepare requests for proposals and conduct all necessary meetings to facilitate the selection of project services and products.
Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of standard project communications.
Prepare and present decision-making material to management.
Demonstrate expertise in creating project management artefacts (project charter, project plan, timelines, requirements documents, project and resource planning, deployment plans, support plans, conversion plans, financial plans, user guides, etc.).
Adhere to standardized IT Project Management practices
Work with multiple IT teams to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Foster collaboration, promote synergies and share good practices / methodologies.
Manage relationships with business stakeholders, IT leadership, vendors, and external partners.
Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts between stakeholders while maintaining project objectives.
Coordinate transition-to-operations activities and business readiness assessments.
Maintain financial control of projects, including forecasting, budget tracking, and reporting.
Drive accountability, collaboration, and a delivery-focused culture across project teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of project management experience, including at least 5 years managing IT Infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated experience delivering complex infrastructure transformation initiatives.
Experience managing project budgets, financial forecasts, and resource planning.
Strong experience with project governance, risk management, and stakeholder management.
Experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
Preference : PMP /PM-ACPI(Good to have )
