Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join the team in Luxembourg. You will report directly to the Finance Manager, to gain hands-on experience across accounting, financial reporting, controlling, and finance transformation projects within an international environment.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop both technical and analytical skills while contributing to meaningful projects that support business performance and process improvement.
As a Finance Intern, you will:
Support the Accounting team with their day-to-day activities, including data entry and account reconciliations. Through close collaboration, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end finance operations.
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and month-end processes.
Work closely with the Finance Manager to create, enhance, and automate internal financial reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
Support the development of standardised reporting solutions to facilitate business decision-making.
Analyse financial and operational data to provide meaningful insights to internal stakeholders.
Contribute to the optimisation of external reporting processes, including statistical reporting for Luxembourg authorities (e.g., STATEC, Central Bank reporting), and data preparation and support for tax-related requests.
Help document and streamline recurring reporting workflows. You will also help identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, simplification, and process enhancements.
Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives within the Finance department.
Gain practical experience with relevant systems and financial reporting tools, and support the implementation and improvement of finance processes and reporting solutions.
Duration: 6 months.
Starting date: September 2026.
This internship is compensated. An internship agreement with your university is required.
Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficient in office Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken). French is a plus.
Personal Skills: Analytical mindset with a structured and detail-oriented approach. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Comfortable working in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
