Job Description

The candidate plays a critical role in supporting Eurofins Personal Care clients by delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating testing projects, and providing commercial support to the sales team. Acting as a trusted liaison between clients and laboratory operations, this position ensures seamless execution of testing programs while fostering long-term client relationships within the cosmetics, personal care, OTC, and beauty sectors.

The successful candidate will combine strong customer service skills, project coordination expertise, and attention to detail to support account growth, client retention, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned Personal Care clients, providing responsive and professional support throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their product development, regulatory, and testing need
  • Communicate proactively with clients regarding project status, timelines, testing updates, and report delivery.
  • Support sales efforts by preparing quotations, proposals, and testing recommendations aligned with client requirements.
  • Ensure client quotations and proposals are delivered accurately and within established turnaround expectations.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities within existing accounts and re-engaging inactive customers.
  • Support client onboarding activities and contribute to account development strategies.
  • Draft and distribute communications regarding new testing capabilities, service offerings, and industry updates. 
  • Receive, review, and process testing requests and purchase orders from clients, affiliates, and all sales departments
  • Verify sample submission requirements, documentation, and project specifications to ensure efficient laboratory processing.
  • Coordinate sample receipt, tracking, and inventory management to maintain visibility throughout the testing process.
  • Prepare and submit all required documentation, including sample submission forms, purchase orders, statements of work, and subcontracting requests.
  • Collaborate with laboratory teams to confirm testing schedules, project timelines, and report delivery dates.
  • Maintain accurate project records within internal systems and provide timely updates to clients.
  • Act as the liaison between clients, laboratory personnel, project managers, and commercial teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Escalate and coordinate resolution of client concerns, technical questions, and service-related issues.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement initiatives and enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate client, project, and account information within CRM and order management systems.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports, account summaries, and management reporting metrics.
  • Analyze account activity and testing trends to support business planning and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Eurofins quality standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Eurofins Personal Care testing services, industry regulations, and emerging market trends.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, Cosmetic Science, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, account coordination, project coordination, or client support.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/order management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced client-focused environment.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting clients within the cosmetics, personal care, consumer products, pharmaceutical, or laboratory testing industries.
  • Familiarity with laboratory testing services, product development processes, or regulatory requirements within the Personal Care sector.

This is a 12-month contract position. Any extension or future permanent employment opportunities will be based on business needs and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

Working Conditions

This position is based in a laboratory office environment. The role requires regular use of a computer, telephone, and standard office equipment, as well as frequent interaction with laboratory staff and clients.  Occasional access to laboratory areas may be required while following all applicable health and safety procedures. Potential overtime may be required depending on business needs.
